Pottery Wheel Level 2 (ACA.W25.PW2)

Description

Pottery wheel is our most popular program!  Each student has their own wheel, and classes are small. 

To participate in Pottery Level 2, you must first complete at least 8 pottery classes (one full Level 1 course series) through JB Arts, or be able to center, consistent thickness, and make basic forms. 

This class is focusing on more developed pots, texture, adding sculpture, decorations, finishing at different stages and creating more refined and unique pieces!  We'll also practice advanced glazing techniques and finishes.

This course includes 6 wheel classes and 3 glazing classes, and you can expect to make about 20 vessels in 9 weeks! 

Things to consider: You will get dirty.  Closed toe shoes tied back long hair, no hanging drawstrings, and closely trimmed fingernails are highly recommended.
