Whether in children’s books, marketing materials, or scientific journals, illustrations help us understand ideas in a direct and involving way. Join us in this fun 6-week course as we explore different strategies for visually communicating ideas. Aimed at beginners and experienced artists alike, we will examine this engaging discipline through the versatile and lighthearted lens of cartooning. Each night will be centered around a lesson, some playful exercises, and finally, a challenge. Our goals include sparking creativity, expanding our visual vocabulary, matching the communication to our audience, and, perhaps most importantly, having fun!
